Lunamoon Premium Gel No. 16 30ml

Lunamoon Premium Gel No. 16 is a professional builder gel in a pink-brown shade, designed for nail extension, strengthening, and shaping. Its muted color visually evens out the natural nail plate and provides an elegant nude finish.

The medium consistency and thixotropic properties make it easy to control the product during application. The gel self-levels while maintaining its given shape and reducing the risk of flooding the cuticles.

After curing, it forms a hard, impact-resistant structure that does not shrink and holds the built nail architecture well. The product does not cause intense burning during polymerization and can be used with both forms and upper forms.

Important Information

The consistency of the gel may change with temperature. At lower temperatures, the product becomes thicker, while when heated, it becomes more fluid.

Before applying the gel, a thin, rub-in layer of Lunamoon Rubber Base should be applied. Premium Gel itself should not be used directly on the natural nail plate without an appropriate base coat.

For proper polymerization, it is recommended to apply the product in layers with a maximum thickness of approximately 0.5 mm at the free edge and up to about 1 mm in the apex area.

At a thickness of approximately 1 mm, the gel remains hard. A very thin layer of the product may show slight flexibility, which does not affect the durability of the styling.

Application

The product is intended for:

• nail extensions on forms;

• nail shaping with upper forms;

• strengthening the natural nail plate;

• building up and correcting nail architecture;

• refilling regrowth;

• reconstruction of damaged nails;

• creating natural nude stylings;

• French and baby boomer stylings;

• creating pink-brown stylings;

• evening out the color of the natural nail plate.

How to Use

1. Perform a manicure and thoroughly prepare the cuticles.

2. Shorten and shape the free edge. For classic extensions, about 1 mm of natural nail can be left.

3. Gently buff the nail plate with a 220 grit file or a 100 grit buffer.

4. Thoroughly remove dust and degrease the nails.

5. If necessary, apply an appropriate primer.

6. Apply a thin, rub-in layer of Lunamoon Rubber Base and cure for approximately 60 seconds.

7. Remove the dispersion layer of the base.

8. Place a form or prepare an appropriate upper form.

9. Apply Lunamoon Premium Gel No. 16, building the length, apex, and correct nail architecture.

10. If necessary, pinch the C-curve after about 10–15 seconds of initial curing.

11. Cure in a UV/LED lamp with a power of 36–48 W for approximately 120 seconds.

12. Remove the dispersion layer and, if necessary, refine the surface with a file.

13. When strengthening a thin nail plate, the natural nail from underneath should be removed to avoid material delamination.

14. Apply the chosen color or top coat and cure according to the instructions of the product used.
